Myranda made her way up to the crow's nest. So, it wasn't exactly the 'other side' of the ship, but she figured she'd get a better view of the seas from there than anywhere else on board.
Hell with actually keeping watch, she sat down and rested against the side of the nest. She just needed to get away from everybody... from everything. But, her solitude caused her thoughts to go back to what had happened in the past 24 hours. She tried to push it all out of her mind, but it just wouldn't seem to leave. It was like an oppressive cloud hanging over her. She knew it would slowly fade with time, but only if no one else found out what had happened between her and Reno. Reno....of all people.....
'I can leave the ship the next time we make port.' She thought, exploring various options and ways to try to help herself forget this situation. 'I can leave. And no one will know. And no one will find out. And i'll never have to see him again. Ever.' But she knew that idea was impractical. She had no place to go. No work. No house. No nothing. She knew that if she ended back on land she'd go back to her gang, which was not something she really wanted to do.
Myranda sighed. There was just no good option, but she knew in her heart she'd never leave this ship... at least not yet. Hell, if anything Riza was the closest thing to family she had right now and to be honest, Myranda wasn't sure what she'd do without someone to go to for advice and whatnot.
And leaving would be admitting defeat. Admitting she couldn't handle what she had done. And she wasn't ready for that. So, for the time being, Myranda decided to stay aboard the Avenger.
Somehow she'd have to deal with the fact that she'd slept with Reno...... ew.
Some time later Myranda looked out and saw that they were passing into a harbor. She climbed out of the crows nest and headed to the decks. She couldn't wait to get on land.
